Industry: a programme dedicated to film professionals

by Porto/Post/Doc / 22 11 2021

As in previous editions, this year Porto/Post/Doc prepared a set of activities for professionals, aiming to promote networking and make the festival a meeting point of ideas and knowledge among the various professionals in the film industry.

The 5th edition of the Arché Development Lab, in collaboration with DocLisboa, has four participants with projects in different stages of production. Directors and producers have, here, the opportunity to work with a tutor to deepen the themes and reflect on the strategies to be implemented in the film. The programme also includes a pitching session for film professionals attending the festival. This edition, the Arché Development Lab will be tutored by the director and producer Sergio Oksman and the presentation will take place on November 25, at 2:30pm, at Rivoli. Access is free but implies reservation here

In partnership with Filmaporto - Film Commission, the festival will host Industry Screenings for projects from producers and directors from Porto and Northern Portugal. These sessions are aimed at national and international programmers and film professionals, with the main objective of increasing the opportunities for promotion, distribution and internationalization of national work. The selected producers and directors will have the opportunity to present their works and meet with film professionals present at the event. The Industry Screenings will take place on November 23 and 24, at Rivoli, and the access is made by invitation only. The projects selected for this year’s edition are:
