Porto/Post/Doc is back in 2018. Festival as a party, that is, as a meeting point for creators, diverse audiences and film professionals, as an intersection of experiences and the pleasure of living moving images in the most beautiful venues of the city of Porto. Bolhão, the guts, Aniki-Bóbó, Aleixo: the city of Porto has always told stories and found a place to show them. This is a festival, a shared party where culture, knowledge and education fit.

Between Porto and the world (International Competition), between cinema and music (Transmission), between the real and the fiction, that's where Porto/Post/Doc take place in 2018. Already matured, Porto/Post/Doc has a handful of stories to tell. Real stories, from every corner of the world, because the world and the cinema fit in Porto.

In 2018, Porto/Post/Doc presents a special program dedicated to the Fictions of the Real. With the rise of Reality TV, the relationship between fiction and reality is increasingly complex. Taking into account the lesson of classical neo-realism, this program - which includes a selection of films and the Forum of the Real - will witness how contemporary cinema has incorporated reality into fiction films.

Porto/Post/Doc takes place between November 24 and December 2, in several theaters of the city (Porto Municipal Theater - Rivoli, Cinema Passos Manuel, Cinema Trindade, Planetário do Porto, Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto and Escola das Artes - UCP).
