Planetário do Porto is the most unusual exhibition venue of the festival since 2018. The huge dome of this building, usually filled with stars, now receives panoramic films that invite the viewer to dive into a journey of sensations. This year, we will screen 5 movies, in fulldome sessions.
The first session takes place on November 20, Saturday, at 5:30pm and features “Labyrinth”, a film that goes through the caos of a digital metropolis built by the director and arquitect Sergey Prokofyev; “Terra TV” directed by Marek Slipek, about an alien invasion; and “Ayahuasca - The Kosmik Journey”, directed by Jan Kounen, that reproduces the psychotropic effects of this tea.The second session takes place on November 21 and 28, Sunday, at 5:30pm, and includes “Luces Recorren Mi Garganta”, directed by Lois Patiño and Xabier Erkizia, a film that proposes a hallucinating experience in the dark; and “The Wind Slope”, about a total eclipse that produced a false night in broad daylight, directed by Juliana Schwindt.
Both sessions take place at Planetário do Porto – Centro de Ciência Viva and tickets can be purchased on site.
