Artūras Barysas-Baras (1954-2005) was a well-known director of experimental short films even before he became the lead singer of the band I.V.T.K.Y.Y.G.Y.G. (an acronym for And All That Is Beautiful, Is Beautiful). He is a key name in the Lithuanian counterculture and a key member of its avant-garde movement. Reason presents, in powerful black-and-white shots, the violence of human gestures on nature, and the possibility of transcendence.
