When Ione, director of the film, moves into the home of the late García siblings, she discovers their lives remaining latent in the objects they left behind. From a piano, hundreds of drawings, thousands of pictures, and various tapes, emerges a portrait of the García family. Antonio worked as a comic artist, Rosita was an opera singer and pianist, and, along with their brother Juanito, they transformed their home into a space for fiction, as an escape from the reality of the Franco dictatorship. Inside the walls of their house the siblings became classic film stars, soldiers, gangsters, astronauts and cowboys... Years later, now with new inhabitants, their home is still a place where life can be something else.
