The plight of a group of volunteers in a remote area of Transylvania gets complicated when the van they are travelling in, on a mission to distribute basic goods to the inhabitants, gets stuck on a rural road, forcing them to spend the night while they wait for help. Romanian new wave veteran Radu Muntean's pessimistic look at human nature allows him to deftly maintain Întregalde's tone between drama and horror film, in what turns out to be one of his most interesting recent works.
