Jonás Trueba captures the spirit of a group of teenagers in Spain in an empathetic, compelling and moving way. In 2016, Trueba invited these teenagers to participate in a five-year project in which they recreated situations from their real lives. They talk about their insecurities, the need for acceptance, loneliness and what they should or can do with their lives. They demonstrate against the privatisation of schools, debate politics and, like many adults, worry about the future of the planet. A monumental film because of its length and its ambition, which is at the same time a fragile and delicate film.
