Sierra Pettengill addresses the issue of monuments dedicated to Southern generals who, during the American Civil War, fought for the continuation of slavery. In Graven Image, the director focuses on the history of Stone Mountain, in the state of Georgia, the largest sculpture of its kind in the USA.
