The lifeless body of a trans woman lies in a soybean plantation in Brazil. It could be like the beginning of Twin Peaks, except that indifference and neglect dominate here. No one knows (nor does anyone want to know) who killed Magdalena. She is another number in the country that kills the most trans people in the world. Her death haunts the lives of the film's three protagonists: a nightclub hostess, a landowner and Bianca, a friend.
