Since its first edition, Porto/Post/Doc has invested in the screening of contemporary Portuguese films, promoting and valuing Portuguese and Galician cinema or, better saying, Portuguese and Galician-speaking cinema. This non-competitive section of the festival aims, on the one hand, to be a showcase of recent Portuguese productions, and, on the other hand, to promote the multiple culture present in contemporary Lusophone communities, bringing together different film formats, with short and feature films, all of them screened within the international context of the festival. Between Galicia and Figueira das Naus, in an edition dedicated to question identities, Cinema Falado moves peripheries to a center, problematizing the language itself.
