When investigating the photographic archive and the diaries written by her father during the military service in the Spanish colony of the Sahara in 1964, Pilar sees the lost paradise where she would always try to return. In the eighties and nineties, after the failure of his family project, Manuel Monsell will begin traveling to the Maghreb. Again with his camera, he will chase after the beauty of some pictures that could move him to the place of dreams. But all these trips reveal much more about the place of departure than about the final destination.
