Since 2011, Maria Elorza and Maider Fernández Iriarte, besides working together, are friends and share spaces, experiences and common characters - ingredients that reflect in each of their short films. Cinematographic correspondence, essays, filmed diaries or self-portraits are the cinematographic forms used to articulate the entire body of work, where a family life, a family, such as memories and friends are a suggestive and contemporary issue. The markedly autobiographical nature - where the personal and the film are in always merging - lets flow a free creativity, giving rise to an exquisite polyhedron of fragments of life. Cinema is, after all, an art that helps us to better understand the world and to try to improve it.
