The soviet director Mikhail Kalatozov filmed Cuba in the early sixties and created the super production "Soy Cuba", a film that intended to serve as a powerful propaganda weapon and to publicize the cuban revolution. However, "Soy Cuba" was completely ignored after its premiere in Havana and Moscow, and during decades it remained unknown to the great public, until it was found by Scorsese and Coppola many years later. The documentary reveals a key point in cuban history and the african-cuban culture, seen through the soviet lens of Kalatozov and the eye of the director Vicente Ferraz.
