'PASSOS PELO CONSERVATÓRIO': PREMIERE OF PORTO/POST/DOC'S EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME FILM IN BRAGA
On 23 April at 7:00 PM, Porto/Post/Doc: Film & Media Festival will present the premiere of the film 'Passos pelo Conservatório' at the Adelina Caravana Auditorium of the Calouste Gulbenkian Music Conservatory in Braga. This film is the culmination of the eponymous creative workshop conducted with the 11th-grade A class of this artistic educational institution.
Developed throughout April 2024, the workshop engaged 18 students in a journey of cinematic discovery and experimentation, exploring themes such as music, freedom, and daily school life. The initiative was a collaborative effort between Porto/Post/Doc — through its Educational Programme — the ATLAS Cultural Mediation Programme of Braga City Council, and the Calouste Gulbenkian Music Conservatory of Braga.
Approximately 13 minutes in length, the film offers a collective and sensitive portrayal of school life, reflecting the perspectives and concerns of a new generation. The screening will be preceded by presentations from the Porto/Post/Doc team and the participating students.
'Passos pelo Conservatório' represents another step in the festival's mission to promote film literacy among young audiences, encouraging direct engagement with cinema as a tool for expression and critical reflection.
Admission is free and open to the community.
