The three emerging production companies that will represent Portugal at D'A Film Lab Barcelona 2025 have been selected! From March 30 to April 2, Diogo Salgado (Bravado Filmes), Rita Garcia (No Murphy), and Bruno Moraes Cabral (Wonder Maria Filmes) will have the opportunity to advance their projects at this renowned international event.

This participation is part of the partnership between Porto/Post/Doc and D'A Film Lab Barcelona, reinforcing the festival’s commitment to the internationalization of the national film industry. The initiative builds on the Co-Production Meetings held in Porto and creates new opportunities for Portuguese cinema beyond borders.

The selected production companies will take part in an intensive program that includes networking with production companies from Spain, the Mediterranean, and Eastern Europe—the guest region of this edition—mentorships with producer Katarina Tomková, masterclasses on financing, audience design, diversity, and sustainability, as well as meetings with international markets such as Polish Days, Mia Market, Ágora-Thessaloniki IFF, and Romanian Days – Transylvania IFF.

This is a strategic step to strengthen the presence of Portuguese cinema on the international circuit, empowering emerging producers and fostering new European co-production synergies.
