The projects selected for the Industry Screenings and Coproduction Meetings activities are launched. The activities will take place within the tenth edition of the festival, scheduled for November 17th to 25th.
In recent editions, PPD has consolidated its activities dedicated to film industry professionals. In 2023, the festival will once again be a meeting point for filmmakers, producers and industry agents, with the aim of fostering an increase in international partnerships, supporting the development, production and worldwide promotion of new projects.
To this end, in addition to organizing the Working Class Heroes grants, the Arché Porto Laboratory and the Critics Lab, Porto/Post/Doc promotes Coproduction Meetings between Portugal, Spain and France for projects in development, an activity is organized with the collaboration of Creative Europe - MEDIA Desk Portugal; and Industry Screenings, dedicated to presenting projects in the post-production phase from Galicia and the North of Portugal, in partnership with Filmaporto - film commission.
