Set within Lisbon’s Cape Verdean community, "The Last Harvest" follows Gabriel, Isabel and Firmino as they confront loss and displacement. Thirteen-year-old Gabriel finds refuge in hidden urban gardens while living with memories of his father. Isabel works night shifts while raising him alone, and Firmino, an elderly farmer, mourns the loss of the cornfield connecting him to Cape Verde.
