Fierce and independent, Félicité sings with Kasai Allstars in a Kinshasa bar. When her son suffers a serious motorcycle accident, she crosses the city in search of the money the hospital demands to operate on him. Along the way, she faces indifference and humiliation, but also finds unexpected acts of solidarity. Music and her relationship with Tabu accompany her through grief, desire, and hope.
