In 1979, Mark Reeder moved from Manchester to West Berlin, finding a walled city where isolation fueled a vibrant underground scene. Constructed almost entirely from archival footage, the film follows Reeder through clubs, squats, and studios, capturing encounters with Nick Cave, Blixa Bargeld, Gudrun Gut, and WestBam during a decade shaped by music, art, and politics.
