A young French woman arrives in San Sebastián in search of mirages and, on a boat, hears the story of two sisters, Margarida and Maria. Photographs that seem to move, binoculars used backwards and bodies drawing closer and apart open passages between the visible and the imagined. Through frames and shifting perspectives, the film questions the act of looking and what we project onto the world and onto others.
