At 92, Nha Balila, one of the great living references of batuku and finason, travels to Portugal, where her voice and vitality resonate with a diaspora connected to Cape Verdean memory. Moving between performances, encounters and everyday gestures, the film follows the force of her presence before returning with her to Tira-Chapéu, where neighbours and musicians gather at her home.
