To escape the overwhelming flow of anonymous lives passing through his work, he finds refuge with Júlia, a 50-year-old Portuguese woman who runs a guesthouse on the outskirts of Lisbon. Seeking belonging and agency but finding only anonymity and powerlessness, Pedro turns to lies and petty crimes.
