This showcase brings together three documentaries selected by three partner festivals: Porto/Post/Doc, Play-Doc (Tui, Spain) and Pordenone Docs Fest (Italy), in an exercise of international cooperation that aims to build bridges between festivals, distributors and independent exhibitors. Excerpts will be presented from "E.1027: Eileen Gray and the House by the Sea" by Beatrice Minger and Christoph Schaub (selected by Porto/Post/Doc); "Deuses de Pedra" by Iván Castiñeiras (selected by Play-Doc); and "A Fireland" by Mona Convert (selected by Pordenone Docs Fest). The session will be introduced by the artistic directors of the three festivals and will also feature the participation of the filmmakers. Inspired by "Vero! Connecting Docs – Docs Without Borders", an initiative of Pordenone Docs Fest: Le voci del documentario, the event fosters new forms of collaboration and lays the groundwork for the Come Closer 2026 circuit, promoting the circulation of contemporary European documentary cinema.
