"A Century In Sound" takes us into Tokyo’s legendary ongaku kissa - listening cafés devoted entirely to music. Through three exquisite portraits of spaces dedicated to jazz, city-pop and classical music, the film explores how these sanctuaries preserve the spirit of listening in a fast, digital age. With elegance and quiet devotion, it celebrates a century of sound, memory and community.
This screening is part of a partnership between the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto, within the scope of the exhibition ECO: SOUND WAVE.
