Jocelyn Cormier and Behrouz Farrokhzad meet in a French class for adults in northern Montreal and practise together while strolling through the city’s parks. When Jocelyn travels to Thunder Bay in search of the unmarked grave of a distant ancestor, she leaves her two elderly cats in Behrouz’s care. A docufiction about the birth of an unexpected friendship, where personal and collective memory intertwine.
