As part of the retrospective dedicated to filmmaker Sierra Pettengill, and taking advantage of her presence in Porto, the festival joins, once again, the School of Arts (Universidade Católica Portuguesa do Porto) to present a masterclass by the filmmaker. With a vast work as archivist - for directors such as Jim Jarmusch (Gimme Danger) or Mike Mills (20th Century Women) - Pettengill will talk about her creative process and her work method, deepening the way in which, in her films, she faces historical images and brings them to the present, making them current and implicated in contemporary struggles.
