Conceived in partnership with Tunga, Medula and Quimera are two short films that share a common formal idea, an (anti) narrative engine that tries to provoke suggestions and emotions in the viewer while challenging it in relation to its passivity. A wandering camera, sound and visual distortion (blurring), cyclical movements and a bourgeois couple or aristocrat in dialogue with a mirror are the elements that serve as a pretext for Medula, a game-like film that is lost and found in the various textures And sound layers that come up repeatedly and almost mind-boggling. In Chimera, there is also a game that unfolds between a man, a cat and a razor blade, which also rests on an attractive mode of assembly and sensory stimulation, both visual and sound, much like a surrealist idea.
