The distance extends in the night of the smugglers in Serra do Gerês. The boundaries are eroding, one by one: first between Galicia and Minho, then between past and present, law and crime. With documentary and fictional elements, this film has an aesthetic and innovative formal approach, in which images are displayed in a spectral form. Time in the smuggling tracks is passed mostly in silence, and in that distance of the transportation the landscape is the mutest witness. (Lídia Queirós)
