Filmed at Aoyama Hachi, a queer feminist club in Shibuya, and Kinone Pension, a house born from resistance to Narita Airport’s construction, the film follows people dancing, walking, reading and debating conflict, struggle and the creative responses they’ve developed to overcome authoritarian power. Through shared stories and reflections, it recalls the legacy of Fumiko Hayashi’s and Kinuyo Tanaka’s works, linking past and present in a portrait of queer feminist presence within a patriarchal world.
