Produced by Antena 3, the documentary I Love My Label reconfigures a series of six episodes dedicated to independent record labels in the national music scene. The idea came from the journalist Rui Portulez, who also gives voice to the story, guiding the film to a nuclear issue: will it be possible to live with alternative music in Portugal? From north to south of the country, not to mention Barcelos or Coimbra, from punk to funk, from Christian rock to ballads: a comprehensive look that results in an important document for the history of Portuguese music - as a cultural industry - in the 2000s.
