Co-Production Meetings is Porto Industry Days’ platform for film and audiovisual projects in development or pre-production, presented by independent production companies from countries participating in Creative Europe MEDIA.
Through pitching sessions and one-to-one meetings, teams present and discuss their projects with producers, funds, broadcasters, platforms, sales agents and other invited professionals. Meetings are tailored to each project’s needs, helping teams develop their financing plans and establish co-production partnerships.
The 2026 edition brings together 11 selected projects.

800 Gondomar In The Subcontinent João Nicolau and Alessandro Comodin PRT · Development Production · Frederico Mesquita · SEARA FILMES (PRT) In January and February 2027, 800 Gondomar take their garage rock on tour across the Indian subcontinent. João Nicolau and Alessandro Comodin follow the three musicians as they encounter audiences, independent promoters, places and sounds. Moving between documentary and fiction, the film builds a mosaic of the journey, shaped by the band's energy and the relationships formed along the way. looking for: An international co-producer contributing €50,000. Archiveless Memories — For An Imaginary Museum Ali Razi FRA, PRT, IRN · Development Production · C.R.I.M. (PRT) Co-production · Darjeeling (FRA) Nawal lives between France and Iran and revisits the legacy of the Iran–Iraq War when a new war interrupts the film she is making with her son. Tehran's Museum of the Sacred Defense, family archives and destroyed palm groves come together in a cinematic counter-museum. Struggling to recover from a breakup with his boyfriend, Ramón becomes fascinated by her. Twenty years later, a box of photographs, posters and tapes leads her to reunite with former colleagues and travel to the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas. In Scotland, dancer Farah Saleh turns his words into movement. On trains, in stations, cafés and waiting rooms, Miguel Eek observes landscapes and meets people travelling for work, love, fear or survival. See What I Say Arturas Jevdokimovas LTU, UKR, ITA · Pre-production Production · Ringailė Lescinskiene · Zero Copy Reel (LTU) Co-production · POPCult srl (ITA) and WAYA Production (UKR) In bars in Bologna, Vilnius and Kyiv, hearing customers adapt to communication with Deaf staff. Live video feeds connect the three spaces, but Italian, Lithuanian and Ukrainian sign languages also differ from one another. Three decades earlier, he travelled from Tbilisi to a summer camp to bring a parcel to his wife and children. Traçadas Tânia Dinis PRT · Development Production · Catarina de Sousa · Foi Bonita a Festa (PRT) In Minho and Galicia, women from different generations share experiences of agricultural, textile and care work. The gestures of weavers, former factory workers, healers and carers reveal how labour and social class shape bodies. Moving between documentary, fiction and poetic essay, the film combines oral histories, archives and landscapes to follow a memory passed on and transformed in the present. looking for: A Spanish co-producer, preferably based in Galicia, to deepen artistic collaboration and support development, financing and international circulation. |
