Bernardino, a man of few words, an emigrant in Canada unable to return to Portugal, buys a Super 8 camera to communicate with his mother through the recordings he performs. Luís Costa directs a short film on the frontier between documentary and fiction, in which, through filming, stories and confessions, a grandchild goes on a dazzled journey into the life of his grandfather.
