Canal180 launches episode in partnership with Porto/Post/Doc

by Porto/Post/Doc / 11 02 2020

"C for Coffee" is the title of the most recent series of interviews produced and launched by Canal180. Inspired by the episodes of "Coffee & Cigarettes" by Jim Jarmusch, these informal conversations aim to discuss the state of the art of contemporary cinema around a coffee table.

The first episode of the series, entitled "Is Cinema Dead?", was produced in partnership with the festival and brings together two conversation tables: the first puts in dialogue the German director Ute Aurand and the Franco-Armenian director Valérie Massadian; the second brings together the British filmmaker Ben Rivers and the Turkish director Gürcan Keltek, winner of the 2017 edition of the festival with the film "Meteors".

The interviews were recorded during the 2019 edition of the festival, between 23 November and 1 December, and took place at the café A Brasileira, in Porto.
